Joel Barker Films is a Sydney-based production company working in short film, television, documentary and brand storytelling for international commissioners. Founded and led by director and DP Joel Barker, with crew assembled to fit the brief.

Joel Barker is Apnea Survival trained by accredited instructors Matthew Grainger and Filipe Denari — the discipline behind every frame the water unit puts on screen. Long, calm, calculated time below the surface, with the camera ready when the moment arrives. It's the credential that lets international production companies put a water brief in our hands and stop worrying about it.
